IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE
EASTERN DISTRICT OF OKLAHOMA

No. CIV-97-113-B

DOUGLAS G. DRY, JUANITA
McCONNELL and ROSIE BURLISON,

Plaintiffs,
vs.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, et. al.

Defendants.

MOTION TO FILE OVERSIZED BRIEF

Plaintiffs, Douglas Dry, Juanita McConnell and Rosie Burlison, pursuant to Eastern District of Oklahoma Local Rule 7.2B, requests leave to file an oversized response to Defendant Robert Rabon's Motion to Dismiss in the above styled matter. The actual brief will not be in excess of fifteen pages, however, due to the complexity of this litigation, the extensive documentation of the history of the Choctaw court and law enforcement programs, and the need to attach as exhibits pleadings and opinions not readily available to this Court (i.e. CFR Choctaw Court of Indian Appeals), counsel will be unable to address the issues adequately within the page limitation of the rules.
WHEREFORE, the Plaintiffs respectfully requests leave of the court to file an oversized brief.
Respectfully submitted,
