Pursuant to the court's minute order dated May 13, 1997 (docket entry No. 78), the United States hereby notifies the court that the Department of Justice has authorized representation by the undersigned for the following defendants: Hoppy Denison, Bill Barrow, Mike Russell, Steven Flowers and Chris Welch. The Department of Justice has not authorized representation for the following defendants: Kenneth Johnson and Blake Johnico. It is the understanding of counsel for the federal defendants that Kenneth Johnson and Blake Johnico will be represented by W.G. 'Gil' Steidley, Jr. and Alison A. Cave of the Steidley & Neal law firm who will enter an appearance on their behalf.

The defendants Hoppy Denison, Bill Barrow, Mike Russell, Steven Flowers and Chris Welch request thirty (30) days within which to answer or otherwise plead to the Amended Complaint. It is the understanding of counsel for the federal defendants that defendants Kenneth Johnson and Blake Johnico request the same thirty (30) day period.
